Overview
The property map provides a visual representation of the area around your property and helps you quickly understand a propertyโs location, surrounding area, and nearby comparable properties. You can explore different map views, including Neighborhood, Safety, Housing, Demographics, and Amenities, and use the Nearby Properties feature to compare or filter other WDSuite properties in the area.
Map Navigation
Once you've searched for a property, you'll find the property information located on the left of the screen, and the property map on the right.
The property map displays two different points on the main canvas:
A red pointer symbol - this represents the property you are actively viewing
Blue circles - these represent clusters of nearby properties. These will be replaced with the individual properties as you zoom into the map.
If you do not wish to see the nearby properties, toggle the Nearby Property filter off to remove the blue circles.
The map is dynamic - you can zoom in or out and drag the map to reposition the viewing area. You can adjust the map's position and zoom level with your mouse or via the navigation icons in the top right hand corner of the map.

Map Views
The map defaults to the Neighborhood Rating view.
โ
Our data scientists group neighborhoods based on similar characteristics like housing metrics, access to amenities, and demographics like education and household income. Then rank those neighborhoods against each other in a given metro area to get to a A-D neighborhood rating. You'll see a reflection of those scores, identified by varying colors, in your Property map view. The rating legend is located in the bottom left corner of the map.

You can see other ratings in map views by using the navigation in the top left hand corner of map. In addition to the neighborhood map, you can view your property in relation to its area by its:

Each of these sections also offers a host of other viewing options, allowing you to fine-tune the map to show the data that you most care about. Click the down arrow next to each map type to expand further options. For instance, within the Housing Map options, you can adjust the map to compare your property to neighboring occupancy rates, average NOI, median home value, and more.

These advanced views help ensure you know as much as possible about your property.
Comparing Nearby Properties
If you wanted to learn more about comparable properties near your property, the map has a toggleable feature that displays any nearby properties that are available in WDSuite. To start, you'll need to ensure that the "Nearby Properties" button is toggled on:
Once toggled on, zoom in to the area you want to review, and you'll see the blue numbers turn into smaller individual properties. You can then click into any of those options, and it'll give you both the name of the property and the link to view the property
Clicking "View Property" will open the property information in a new tab, allowing you to compare both properties side-by-side.
Filtering Nearby Properties
When the "Nearby Properties" is toggled on, the property map will display all of the available properties we have available within WDSuite. However, if you want to narrow down the list, you can leverage filters to do so.
From the "Neighborhood" tab select the "Nearby Properties" option from the dropdown menu.
This will then show a complete list of all of the properties near the property you are actively viewing. To filter it down, you can use the menu button located in the top right corner of the list view
This menu will bring up a variety of different filtering options, including:
Year Built
Transaction Year
Transaction Price
Neighborhood Rating
Safety Ratings
Median Household Income
Occupancy Rate
Median Home Value
Once you select the filters you want to apply, you can click the "Apply" to see the refined results on the map.
